We decided to do the short 30km detour from the Main road and check out Windy Harbour. There really isn’t much here except for a heap of Coastal Cabins, a caravan park, spectacular coast views and apparently the fishing is sensational. Mmmm, perhaps it has everything for certain people! If only we fished. We did a couple of walks and checked out ‘Natures Window’ and headed back up the road we came in on to continue along the Main road.
