Seaforth

05/07/2018

The last few days we have been exploring around north of Mackay staying at Seaforth and Proserpine, visiting Halliday Bay, Cape Hillsborough, Airlie Beach and Bowen. The last time we had a look around these areas was in 2002 when we did the trip with the Kids in Craig (the caravan).  Lots has changed over those years. All these areas are special in their own way, if you can do without power and major shops Seaforth seems the place to stop, fish and read a book  and enjoy long walks along the beach with sooo many shells and it only costs $156 per week, right on the water.

We are now on our way to Townsville we have booked into a caravan park for a week. Col is going to the V8’s on the weekend with Greg (a friend from the Panasonic days) and Rachel is planning on finding a Yoga class, some time with a book, and a spot of shopping.Couple of non-Col days, otherwise known as me-time.

Highlight of the day: we went for a bike ride around Airlie and Rachel’s  bike is working much better, no need to peddle down hills anymore.
