So thats it we have crossed the Nullarbor and arrived in Norseman.

Not including air swings Rachel swung the golf club 133 times and Col 124 (par is 59), we still have 3 holes to go in Kalgoorlie

Lots of people will offer advice, sometimes we ask for it and sometimes we don’t. One thing is for sure though is that most people can only tell you what things are like from their perspective, the place they stayed is the best, but they don’t know what the others were like ’cause they didn’t stay at them all. We were also told by several people that we are mad to travel east to west across the Nullarbor this time of year as we will certainly struggle with constant head winds etc.

Well we chose to go against all the advice that we had received as it suited our time frame better and we traveled east to west with a constant tail wind the whole way across, it just goes to show that we all need to follow our own paths and not follow others to closely. Maybe we jagged it dunno, but it worked for us.

So what was the Nullarbor like, is it just barron nothing? is it sandy? is it dusty? is it boring? is there much to see? is it green at all? … the answer is Yes, it is all of these things.

Below is the view from our windscreen as we crossed.

We have spent the last couple of days hanging around Norseman doing washing and kinda chilling a bit, and then today (21/03/2019) have driven to Esperance. Unfortunately the weather has turned a bit crap, we had a ripper storm last night and then drizzly overcast weather as we arrived to Esperance. We have had a drive around in the rain and in good weather we think it would be beautiful, but in crap weather, not so nice. Fingers crossed the weather lifts and we get to see the town in her beauty. We have pulled up in a sneaky camp in the industrial area for tonight.
