We arrived at Mt Barnett Road House around lunchtime, will spend the night here, and hopefully get picked up tomorrow to head back to Derby where MIA is stored.
Jodie who manages the roadhouse had heard about our plight and offered us the use of one of the station vehicles so that we could go down to the gorge, have a swim and fill in our day. Honestly how fortunate are we to meet such caring people. Armed with some beer that Terry so kindly gave us as we were leaving Mt Elizabeth, and some ice from the roadhouse, we headed to the swimming hole to wait the day out.

When we woke up this morning we discovered that the truck to take us home had arrived through the night, things are looking good, and check out the sunrise,,,,, gonna be a good day today.
Only problem was, the Truck wouldn’t start, flat battery ……. Never fear, Franky may be feeling a little under the weather, but he is still super awesome. So the question is, can Frank Jump start a Kenworth?
It took a bit of time to load everything up and assemble the Road train, which was a learning experience but eventually we are ready to go. Now we have a 7 hour drive back to Derby.

Back in Derby, Rock Auto’s (Brilliant People) fixed Frank straight away, MIA, is as we left her, Oh how happy we are to see MIA. We got to have Breaky with Luke & Emma who came into town for a function. This particular little adventure is over now, wonder what will happen next.
