Kulin Tin Horse Highway

29/04/2019

When we woke this morning we thought we would have a quick look around Kulin, and move on. Well what a cool Town, they are so welcoming to visitors they let you either stay self contained in the area that they have set aside for self contained RV’s, which has water, dump point, toilet and free hot showers. However if you don’t meet the Self Contained definition you are asked to move on to the town caravan park that has a ‘You Decide’  fee structure. Basically you pay what ever you think it is worth to you to stay there. We spoke with some people that stayed there, and they confirmed that the facilities are excellent, go figure!

So what started as a plan to have a quick look around and move on eventuated into spending the entire day exploring this small little town and taking photos of the Tin Horse Highway (116 photos). approx 15kms either side of town is the Tin Horse Highway.

You can either view them in the slide show below or Click Here and they are all laid out on their own page, really clever and some are quite funny.

By the time we finished taking all the photos we decided to stay another night. Then when we woke the next morning it was a beautiful sunny day, we decided that since water was so available we stayed and did all the washing, even the Doona cover and Mattress protector got a wash.

Barry & Pauline and John pulled in as well so we spent a bit more time with them, we also went on the Kulin water slide which is the biggest in the state outside Perth. we ended staying in Kulin for 3 nights.
