Kakadu

We had been asking lots of people about Kakadu, it seems 50% of people love it and the others call it Kak-a-don’t, as in don’t waste the time.

We decided that we needed to find out for ourselves, and we are glad that we did, our short journey began when we arrived at the Bowali Visitor Centre, the importance of the indigenous culture and how it developed overtime to exist and maybe even partner with the modern ways and governance was interesting and a good introduction to the area.

Whilst here we visited many waterfalls, traveled the yellow river on a sunrise cruise, sat and pondered in many special places. We both left feeling that in addition to having some beautiful country, Kakadu has a special vibe or feeling to it that is unique.
