As we arrived into Alice Springs we learnt that the “Henley on Todd Regatta” is on. It was a bit of fun watching people carry homemade boats up the dry Todd River. It is the 57th Year that the regatta has been on only missing 1993 when there was actually water in the river meaning the event had to be cancelled. We will spend the next couple of days doing washing, getting supplies, having a bit of a look around Alice Springs and that sort of stuff.
