We spent the past week at Rowes Bay Caravan Park, which is directly opposite from the beach and just around the corner from the Strand in Townsville. While Col enjoyed the V8’s with Greg and Lloyd for a couple days, Rachel was getting around on her pushy exploring parts of Townsville and doing a spot of shopping. Thanks to Rod Roy for the the tip of DJR car 17, Greg lost the bet, and happily paid me my $10 winnings. We loved our walk up Castle Hill and the view over Townsville was worth the exercise. We have planned to come back through Townsville and go to the Cowboys Broncos game in a few weeks with Greg & Kathy.

We also caught up with Ross & Susan who are living in Townsville for a while. Its really cool to be able to travel around and catch up with different friends as we go along.
