Mandurah is huge, it has Bunnings at both the north and south ends of the town, all of the industry and service providers and a huge Marina. They also have a clear charter that Freedom camping is not supported. So much so that whilst they have a dump point, they have gone well out of the way to make sure there is nowhere to get water. Anyway, that didn’t stop us, it only made it harder for us, we made some friends at the Marina who were happy for us to get water, just had to be a little sneaky. Back to Bunnings though, in WA they have buns instead of bread for their sausages.
About 30 minutes south from Mandurah are Thrombolites, they are interesting; a sign explaining them is below, the drive down was just beautiful, it mostly followed the estuary/inlet. We stopped had lunch, a load of washing(cause we can) and spotted Dolphins, and a Stingray, really pretty and relaxing place.

We returned to Mandurah for a walk around the town, there are canals everywhere, apparently they have tried to create a theme around Venice, we really enjoyed our walk around their pretty town.
