When we came down the range we stopped at Finch Hatton Gorge, as we started the 4.2km rt walk to the “wheel of fire” (not sure why they call it that) it started raining. We both put on our rain coats and off we went, it was kinda better walking through the rain forest whilst it was actually raining, things just seemed more alive with the water on the branches, little creeks running, dunno just seemed better.

Highlight of the day, Rachel-Spotting an Eel, Col-Swimming in the wheel of fire in the middle of winter.
